DANIEL PAHL began his dance training at New Haven Ballet under the direction of Noble Barker as well as FineLine Theatre Arts under the direction of Elizabeth Parkinson. He has attended summer programs at American Ballet Theatre in New York, Harid Conservatory, The Juilliard School, Orlando Ballet, and Alonzo King's LINES Ballet. Dan graduated summa cum laude from Columbia University with a BA in Dance and Biology. While at Columbia, he performed works by Sidra Bell, Ori Flomin, Andrea Miller, Francesca Harper, Jill Johnson, and Twyla Tharp. In addition, he has performed in original works by Emery LeCrone, Josh Prince, Alison Cook Beatty, and Caitlin Trainor among others with the Columbia Ballet Collaborative. He has performed with Lydia Johnson Dance, Josh Prince's The Broadway Dance Lab, and the Steps Repertory Ensemble. Recent regional credits include: West Side Story (MUNY); Sunset Boulevard (ACT of CT); Newsies (Casa Manana); Jerome Robbins’ Broadway (Theatre Under the Stars); Fiddler on the Roof (NSMT); Beauty and the Beast and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Sharon Playhouse); Spamalot, Flashdance, and A Christmas Carol (The Palace Theatre). Daniel could be seen in the 2019-2020 and 2021-2022 Broadway national tour of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as Mr. Bucket/Ensemble. He was the Swing and Assistant Dance Captain on the Broadway national tour of Elf The Musical. In May 2023, he made his Off-Broadway debut in The Goodbye Girl starring Sierra Boggess and Santino Fontana with the J2 Spotlight Company at Theatre Row. He will be returning to ACT of CT this winter to perform in his favorite musical, Fiddler on the Roof!
